GIN MARTINI

GIN MARTINI
 

As iconic as it gets! Just a quick shake or stir and you are on your way to enjoying a martini!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2.5 OZ MIDTOWN GIN (OR SEASONAL GIN)

  • .5 OZ DRY VERMOUTH

  • LEMON TWIST OR OLIVES FOR GARNISH

INSTRUCTIONS:

Add gin and vermouth to a mixing glass over ice and stir, or into a martini shaker over ice if preferred. Shake or stir to chill the cocktail. Double strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist or olives.

DAISY DOUX

 

The Daisy Doux is the ideal cocktail to show off the Spring Blossom with a gentle citrus finish.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 OZ MIDTOWN GIN

  • .75 OZ LEMON JUICE

  • .75 OZ ROSEMARY LAVENDER SYRUP

  • .25 OZ CHERRY JUICE

  • 2.25 OZ SODA WATER

INSTRUCTIONS:

Combine all ingredients in a 12 oz jar or glass over ice. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a cocktail cherry.

*To make the Rosemary-Lavender Simple Syrup Boil
.5 lb white sugar, .25 lb water, .5 cup dried rosemary, .25 cup dried lavender. Use a fine mesh strainer to remove the used rosemary and lavender before using.

MIDTOWN 75

 

This is our Spring take on a French 75. Made in house with our Seasonal Spring Gin, but also phenomenal with our Midtown Gin.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 OZ MIDTOWN SPIRITS SPRING GIN OR MIDTOWN GIN

  • .5 OZ ROSEMARY LAVENDAR SYRUP

  • .75 OZ LEMON JUICE

  • TOPPED WITH PROSECCO

INSTRUCTIONS:

Combine Gin, Syrup, and Lemon Juice in a mixing glass over ice. Stir well to chill, and strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Top with Prosecco and garnish with a lemon twist.

WHITE LINEN

The White Linen is likely the most well known cocktail that has ever been created in Sacramento. This is our twist using our Cucumber Vodka instead of needing to muddle fresh cucumbers!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 OZ MIDTOWN GIN

  • .5 OZ MIDTOWN SPIRITS CUCUMBER VODKA

  • .5 OZ ELDERFLOWER LIQUEUR

  • 1 OZ LIME JUICE

  • .25 OZ SIMPLE SYRUP

  • 2.75 OZ SODA WATER

INSTRUCTIONS:

Combine all ingredients over ice in a 12oz glass or jar. Gently stir to incorporate, but not release carbonation. Garnish with a slice of cucumber and lemon wheel.

NITRO NEGRONI

 

This classic cocktail showcases our Midtown Gin with a refreshingly bitter component from the Sweet Vermouth and Campari.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 OZ MIDTOWN GIN

  • 1 OZ SWEET VERMOUTH

  • 1 OZ CAMPARI ITALIAN LIQUEUR

INSTRUCTIONS:

Combine all 3 ingredients over a large ice cube in a rocks glass. Use a cocktail spoon to stir ingredients and chill. Use an orange peel as garnish, and express the oils over the cocktail by pinching the peel over the cocktail. To make it like we do at the distillery, you will need to charge the cocktail with nitrogen. Here is a link to a video describing that process.

GIBSON MARTINI

While not as well known as the Dirty Martini, this savory classic lends a sophisticated twist to any cocktail party. (or brunch, we’re not judging)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.75 OZ MIDTOWN GIN OR CLASSIC VODKA

  • 1.25 OZ DRY VERMOUTH

  • .5 OZ COCKTAIL ONION BRINE (OPTIONAL)

  • COCKTAIL ONIONS FOR GARNISH

INSTRUCTIONS:

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Add ice and stir for a minimum of 20 seconds to chill the cocktail. Strain into a coupe of martini glass. Garnish with cocktail onions.

DIRTY MARTINI

A briney classic! Everybody knows this drink, but most may not know that it started as a gin cocktail! In the 1970’s, vodka became the popular choice.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2.5 OZ MIDTOWN SPIRITS CLASSIC VODKA OR MIDTOWN GIN

  • .5 OZ DRY VERMOUTH

  • .5 OZ OLIVE BRINE

  • COCKTAIL OLIVES FOR GARNISH

INSTRUCTIONS:

Add the vodka or gin, dry vermouth, and olive brine to a mixing glass or martini shaker. Stir or shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass and garnish with olives.
